IILM CMS Success Story: Suman Banerjee
A Dream of a Student
Wow it seems like a dream and I wish it never get over. Whenever we start a new phase in life, there is always a fear, lots of questions, a journey we are not much sure of but at IILM CMS it was different. I am Suman Banerjee, I am from West Bengal, as I got my first job today I am just wondering how to say I am feeling great, a package of 7 lpa just leaves me with a smile and all my memories of IILM CMS just starts rolling all over again. When I finished my B.Tech in IT I was not sure what to do next, some suggested me to go for a job and others suggested me to go for a higher degree in my field but then I decided to do MBA, not because it will guarantee me big money but because I wanted to learn how it feels to manage the unmanageable. To be honest IILM CMS was not among my top choices but now after two years I can proudly say yes I am part of IILM CMS community. It was more than just studies; it was about application, application of what we know and what we can achieve with little efforts. I have always believed money making is a hard task and its even harder to learn how to calculate it, interest rates, international business, currency exchange, these were the words which were enough to give me cold feet but as the time passed by things started looking lot easier, thanks mainly to my friends and teachers who showed confidence in me and trusted me to come through. Coming from the eastern part of India, I was very nervous at first place about the group of students I am going to meet and will the teachers be friendly to me but all those questions just remained within as few smiles around me changed the course of all my worries. I learnt a lot about myself during these two years, to be a leader you don’t need to be the top student or the most popular student of your class, you need to be more of yourself, and someone people can look upto not for help but to guide them through by holding them and letting them be more of what they are. We often say thanks to our creator for making us strong and stand through the toughest times, for my teachers over here, I just want to say you gave a new meaning to the purpose of my life. IILM CMS will be always my home as it’s the place where my heart belongs.
Thanks!!!!
Thanks IILM CMS for being my second home!!!
